Abstract
301,326. Telefunken Ges. fiir Drahtlose Telegraphie. Nov. 24, 1927, [Convention date]. Fading, preventing; thermionic amplifiers and generators.-A short-wave wireless transmitter transmits signals on two frequencies which are generated or amplified by thermionic valves E<1> E<2> energized by opposite phases of an alternating current to prevent one frequency influencing the other. Each valve produces one of the frequencies and the anodes are connected one to each end of the secondary winding of a transformer T, of which the primary winding is supplied with alternating current, and the cathodes are connected to the electrical centre of the secondary winding. Anode current is thus supplied to each valve by opposite phases of the alternating current.
