Water circulation, auxiliary apparatus for promoting.-To improve the working of the circulator described in Specifications 194,223 and 224,960, a U-shaped pipe G having one leg projecting into the barrel A is connected to the vertical part of the discharge pipe E. The U-shaped pipe extends above the discharge pipe and opens into the pipe below the level to which water rises in the pipe at starting up. The discharge pipe delivers into an open-ended pipe F extending down to bottom of the boiler.
