Abstract
284,769. Wood, R. Nov. 3, 1926. Washing tanks.-A portable washing apparatus comprises a tank for the plates or prints and a self-contained reservoir supported immediately above the tank the outlet from the tank being at the bottom and the supply from the reservoir to the top of the tank being just sufficient to keep the tank full as long as the supply lasts. The tank b may be integral with the reservoir a as in Fig. 1, or it may be independent, and a water seal may be provided to stop the flow from the reservoir if the water in the tank rises above a prescribed level. In one such arrangement the feed fom the closed reservoir a, Fig. 7, comprises a tube f<1> passing through a plug f, and dipping sufficiently into the tank b to maintain the required level.
