Ball and float valves. - A cistern supply float valve has the usual washerfaced plunger h guided at the outer end in a removable screwed gland nut g, and the float lever m is mounted on the casing, as shown, independently of the gland nut. The closing movement of the lever is transmitted to the valve plunger through a screw r, with lock-nut t, whereby the water level in the cistern can be adjusted. Specification 169,118 is referred to.
