Abstract

297,606. Frey, S. Dec. 16, 1927. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Fixed - abutment type; balancing moving parts; back pressure, reducing. - Constraining rings k fitting the bore of the pump casing are arranged at the sides of a rotary pump of the eccentric rotor and radially sliding vane type to maintain the vanes at a constant small distance from the casing walls and steps or bevels n are formed on the lateral faces of the rotor e which are engaged by the rings k so that the outer faces thereof lie flush with the lateral faces of the rotor. The rings run on rollers and have semi-circular section grooves l into which projections on the vanes are received. A shallow depression o in the casing wall on the discharge side prevents back pressure.
