Abstract
295,886. Devane, J. Dec. 8, 1927. E l a s t i c stockings, knee - caps, and like bandages; limb binders. -An elastic or other leg bandage is provided at one end with an endless slip which is fitted over the foot or the lower part of the leg and serves as a retaining member. In the bandage shown the slip is formed as a sock without toe or heel pieces. The upper part of the bandage may be straight or spiral. It may be integral with or sewn to the retaining member; in the latter case, the upper .edge of sock portion lies in an inclined plane to facilitate winding of the attached upper part. The upper end is fastened by means of a hook and eye, buckle, press-fastener or, tapes.
