Abstract
294,961. Soc. Anon. pour l'Equipement Electrique des Vehicules. Jan. 6, 1927, [Convention date]. Divided on 283,173. Vacuum and pressure cleaning-apparatus.-A distributor communicates with the suction nozzle and with the suction and delivery side of the suction apparatus, and is capable of reversing- the direction of flow of air through the nozzle. The distributer, Fig. 2, comprises a partitioned cylindrical valve operated through a bellcrank 60 and Bowden wire to cause ports in the valve to register with the suction pipe 45 and with one of the atmospheric ports 48, 49. Fig. 9 shows a modification in which lift valves 80. 81 are provided on a lever actuated by a cable 57 within the suction pipe. Partial opening of the valves regulates the vacuum or blast. Blast may be used to raise dust which is then drawn off by suction.
