R o t a r y intaglio machines, - A rotary proof-printing machine for testing intaglio cylinders of different sizes s comprises a vertically adjustable wide impression cylinder f and adjustable roller bearings k, l for the trunnions of the printing-cylinder e. One pair of rollers k, l is mounted in one of the side frames a, and the other pair is mounted in a slide which is laterally adjustable by a screw- and-nut, so that rollers e of different lengths can be accommodated. The paper is preferably drawn from a roller b and wound up on a roller c in such a manner that the impression is readily observable.
