Abstract

292,446. Huber, A. March 16, 1928. Skein holders and swifts.-In an adjustable reel or skein holder, the arms 11, Fig. 1, are guided in spokes 9 arranged tangentially to a drum 10, Fig. 2, on which steel tapes 12 connected to the arms 11 may be wound to adjust the setting of the holder. The tubular spokes 9 are clamped between semi-circular housings 8 on coacting discs 4, 6 secured together by latches 7. The wire members 15, Fig. 3, are secured to the arms 11 by a bolt the head of which is grooved to accommodate the diverging limbs.
