Abstract

291,214. Hardy, T. May 11, 1927. Retaining and tightening garment's at t'he waistline; pyjamas, draw tapes. - Pyjamas are made with elastic webbing at the waist and the opening of the front is adapted to be fastened by means of a detachable fastening, such as is described in Specification 213,412, or the elastic webbing may be detachably secured to the waistband. As shown in Fig. 1, elastic straps e are located in a hem at the waist line of the garment and are detachably attached to the waistband f by means of loops g made of wire and having overlapping ends g', g<2>, of the fastening. The shafts are fastened at the front of the garment by a toggle and loop fastening h, j, or, in another construction, by a disc and loop fastening.
