Folding paper.-In a paper-folding machine employing sets of buckling folders operating at right-angles to one another, means are provided for cutting the sheet longitudinally as they leave each set of folders so that the number of products obtained from a single printed sheet may be increased. The sheets after being fed from a table through a set of folders 17 pass over a guide plate to rubberfaced feed-rollers 25, the shafts 26. 27 of which carry one or more parts of cutting-discs 29 adjustably and removably mounted thereon. The cut sheets pass to an inclined-roller feed-table 30 which, in the usual manner, forwards the sheets at right-angles to their former path into another set of folders 40, 42. A similar guiding, feeding, and cutting arrangement 46, 47, 48, 29 follows the folders 40 - - 42 and the final products drop on to a slow-moving delivery band 49 driven by reduction gearing 52 - - 54 from the shaft 47. Any folder may be rendered inoperative by means of a pivoted deflector in the ordinary way, and additional units of the machine may follow the folders 40 - - 42 instead of the delivery belt 49.
