Abstract

289,315. Bach, J. S. Aug. 26, 1927. Sound magnifying and directing appliances.-An amplifier comprises inner, intermediate, and outer pyramidal sections 4, 6, 1, the two latter being provided at their inner ends with curved surfaces 7. 10, and the whole constituting a compact and cortinuously expanding sound passage. The pyramidal form of the curved surface 7 tends to divide the sound waves into four streams and this division n ay be positively effected by the provision of diagonal wings 11 and partitions 14.
