Magnifying-appliances.-A magnifying-appliance consists of two lenses d, e supported in a mount b carrying a handle k which serves as the container and contact-maker for an electric light i and cell t. The light projects through an aperture in a conical reflector f, serving also as the diaphragm for the lenses d, e. 'Increased magnification may be obtained by an additional lens c and a thread-mounting aperture x is also fitted as shown.
