Abstract
287,664. Roberts, A. Jan. 19, 1927. Supporting pipes. - The pipes 12, Fig. 1, of a heating system are supported by bolts 8 which are adjustably mounted in a frame 1, 2, 3 by providing the ends thereof with serrated clamping blocks 9 adapted to engage serrations 6 on the sides of said frame. The bolts are preferably provided with rollers 11 and spacer sleeves 13 to facilitate longitudinal movement of the pipes, while the frame may be screwed to a floor or inverted and attached to a girder 19, Fig. 4. According to the Provisional Specification the serrations 6 may be dispensed with, in which case the clamping blocks engage the sides of the frame with a frictional grip.
