Abstract
286,709. Billon, F. March 11, 1927, [Convention date]. Amino acids.-Fish or fish offal is reduced to a fine paste to which 0.1-0.3 per cent of chloropicrin is added in a mixer and dried rapidly in a fan drier to a powder which is de-oiled by solvents such as carbon tetrachloride, carbon disulphide, or trichlorethylene. Specification 208,144 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a process wherein autolysis takes place and transformation into amino acids is effected. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
