286,193. Melland, G. W., and Gray, P. Dec. 20, 1927. Loud-speakers.-A combined loud-speaker and time-piece has the time-piece 3 mounted in the loud-speaker casing 2 by means, of the clock numerals 4 arranged so as to permit the passage of sound through the annular space 5. The loud. speaker is preferably of the hornless type, a silk or similar cloth 6 being mounted behind the numerals 4. The casing 2 may be mounted upon or formed integrally with a cabinet 1 containing a radio receiver and a frame aerial 7 may be wound within the casing 2.
