Abstract
284,770. Baird, J. L., and Television, Ltd. Nov. 3, 1926. Liquid resistances.-An electric resistance consists of distilled water or other liquid in a distortable vessel such as a rubber tube. In the form shown the rubber tube 5 is attached to a fixed block 2 and a sliding block 7 furnished with terminals 4, 8. The block 7 is furnished with an indicator 10 moving over a scale and a clamping-screw 9. The tube, instead of being stretched, may be twisted. In a further modification, a rigid telescopic tube with an overflow chamber is employed. Specification 263,634 is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 263,634,
