Abstract

282,955. Wellings, N. Nov. 24, 1926. Dolls.-Relates to a doll's head of the kind formed of fabric, felt or like material C, backed with buckram or like material D, and consists in coating the inner surface of the forward part of the head with a waterproof material E such as plastic wood to the inner surface of which fixed or movable eyes G are attached by plaster of Paris or other cement K. The surface of the head is preferably coated with an adhesive such as liquid glue prior to the application of the waterproof material. The eyes, as shown, are rotatable in sockets formed in the plaster and are connected by a bridge H from which depends a weighted arm J. The head is formed in two halves the front half being strengthened by a wooden strut F. The rear half of the head may be coated with waterproof material in a similar manner to the front half.
