Abstract
279,533. Bower, J. A. June 29, 1926. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Sets, construction of.-A box, particularly intended for radio receiving-sets, has its lid doubly hinged, so that a frame aerial carried by the lid or a section thereof may be suitably oriented when the lid is open. As shown in Fig. 1, the lid b, which may carry a frame aerial, is pivoted by a pin and socket l to a flat member c which is connected by butt hinges g to the box f. A single central hinge such as g may carry an upstanding pin bearing in a socket on the lid, in a manner similar to the pivot l. A fly-nut m holds the lid in adjusted position. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 205,296.
