Abstract
285,324. Lehmann, E. P. Aug. 15, 1927. Lids.-In box having a flanged lid secured by lugs on the box body engaging holes in the lid and being bent thereover, the width of the holes 5 measured in any direction across them is approximately the same as the width of the lugs 3, and the joint line between the top 2 of the lid top and its flange 6 passes through the centres of the holes. The holes may be circular or square and the lid may be hinged to the box body 1; the lugs are attached to the body by small projections 4 on the lugs being passed through slots in the box body and bent or doubled back upon the interior thereof.
