Abstract
279,315. Walther, F. Oct. 20, 1926. [Convention date]. Mechanical toys; mechanical constructions, details for building up. - A spur-wheel for use in building toys comprises two sheetmetal discs a, Figs. 1 and 4, each having a rim b from which extend lugs c that are bent twice at right-angles to form teeth. The discs are provided with holes e to receive connecting bolts and with central holes g for a shaft. The discs may be flat or dished, and the holes g may be surrounded by collars pressed from the metal of the discs. The discs may, in a modification, be held together between a collar and a nut on the shaft. A rack, Fig. 2, may be formed in a similar manner.
