Abstract
278,914. Farris, C. S. Nov. 30, 1926. Push-bars.-Relates to a device for securing pivoted handle bars of perambulators &c. in the operative position and comprising a bracket attached to the body and adapted to receive a part of the handle which is held therein by an angularly movable element mounted on the bracket. The angularly movable element is of substantially hook-like formation and moves about a substantially vertical axis. The handle bars b are pivoted at c to lugs on a bracket d secured to the end of the body a. Each bar is adapted to engage a slot i in an angular bracket g secured to the body and is retained in the slot by a hook-like catch j pivoted at k to the body g.
