Abstract

276,349. Schneider et Cie. July 24, 1925, [Convention date]. Projectile fuzes. - A dishshaped sealing disc E is arranged between the percussion cap C and the firing pin D of a percussion fuze and is held in place by wings E<1> clamped by a ring G. When the firing pin strikes the percussion cap on impact, the, disc prevents escape of flash outwards. The fuze shown is a sensitive combined directaction and momentum-action percussion fuze, and is covered by a cork wad I glued in place and coated with tin foil.
