Rail and vertical bar fencing.-The rails c are secured to the posts b by brackets a. each consisting of two parts together forming a socket for the rail and each having means for fixing it to the post as shown; the brackets are formed with flanges and holes a<2>, c for screws or nails. Gravel boards may be held in a similar manner.
