Abstract

Plug couplings; two-part couplings. - A wall -fitting for use in the distribution throughout a building of telephonic signals from a wireless receiver and adapted to receive an ordinary telephone jack-plug comprises an insulating panel a that carries a contact sleeve c and a lateral spring contact g, the whole being finished by attaching a cover i to the sleeve c. The fitting may be mounted on a block b, Fig. 3, the contacts shown being suitable for fittings connected in parallel. For a series connection an additional contact j, Fig. 4, is attached to the sleeve c to engage the contact g when the plug is withdrawn. Fig. 4 shows a flush-fronted fitting.
