Abstract
272,701. Wagner, J. P., and Brandon, J. E. July 17, 1926. Strap fastenings.-A single element 1 forming a one-piece fastening and threading device for straps and bands is rounded or pointed at one end 2 to facilitate threading and has transverse slots 7, 8, 9 for adjustably securing one end of the band 4, the other end 5 of the band being passed through a slot 3 and stitched to the band. Fig. 4 shows the device 1 formed by stamping sheet metal and leaving in place the extruded metal at 7<a>, 8<a>, 9<a> so as to increase the grip on the band. Serrations 7<b> may be formed at the end of the slot 7.
