Abstract
272,642. Agar, R. March 30, 1926. Pivoted adjustable handles.-In order to permit circumferential adjustment of the handle with respect to a circular or equivalent brush head, the stock K, Fig. 1, of the brush is formed with a number of diametric holes, any one of which is adapted to receive a tapped pin L which screws into a socket B for the handle A and is fitted with a nut D. In the construction shown in Fig. 2 the stock, which is hollow, is encircled by two half-loops F connected together at the bottom by a bolt and nut H and secured to the handle by a bolt and nut G. The two half-loops with the bolt and nut H may be replaced by a single member bent in two.
