Abstract
272,538. I. G. farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. June 11, 1926, [Convention date]. Materials for purifying.-In the production of oils of low boiling-point by the destructive hydrogenation of carbonaceous materials, the unconsumed hydrogenating gases, which have already been freed from the liquid reaction products, are scrubbed under pressure with benzines, preferably those produced by a similar destructive hydrogenation, to remove gaseous hydrocarbon.
