Abstract

271,843. Gangloff, G. May 25, 1926, [Convention date]. Hoods.-Vehicles having fixed sides are provided with hoods carried by linkwork. As shown, the fixed sides 10 have compartments 11 carrying the linkwork supporting the hood fabric 20. The linkwork comprises a lever 12 pivoted on a fixed pivot 13 and pivoted to a lever 15 which is pivoted to a lever 18. Another lever 21 is also pivoted on the pivot 13 and is pivoted to a lever 23 connected to lever 15 and to lever 25 which is connected to lever 18. When collapsed the cover 20 is folded up at the rear as shown in Fig. 2. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification in which the cover is extended and collapsed by means of dunlicate lazytong linkwork. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
