Abstract
268,121. Johnston, D. March 16, 1926. Blocks, special shapes of.-A block is provided with (1) vertical and horizontal inter - connecting through passages B, C respectively; (2) all-round V-shaped grooves E at each side to receive grout (3) holes or recesses such as D for receiving the ends of joists and for the insertion of wooden plugs to which the laths mav be nailed; and (4) recesses such as F to retain the plaster covering in position. The surfaces G of the horizontal passage may be curved as shown in Fig. 5. In addition the upper and lower portions may be formed one with a centrally-situated tongue and the other with a groove.
