192,859. Parkin, L. Dec. 6, 1921. Building-blocks, special shapes of. - In building-blocks of the kind formed with interengaging ribs and recesses to facilitate laying, the upper and lower faces are provided with two longitudinal grooves and' ribs B, C, and D, E respectively, white the end faces are provided with grooves F, which form channels for grouting when two adjacent blocks are assembled and with projections H and recesses J to register the ends of the blocks A correctly. Apertures or passages G may be provided to form in superimposed blocks continuous channels which may be left hollow or reinforced and grouted. A horizontal passage may be provided instead of the vertical passages, and the grooves B, C are made deep enough to accommodate longitudinal reinforcements in addition to the ribs D, E.
