Abstract

267,957. Stoll, A. March 18, 1926, [Convention date]. Seat adjustments; revolving seats. - A seat is mounted on a vertically adjustable pillar 10 with a series of notches 11 for selective engagement by a pivoted spring-pressed lever 8 mounted on a casing 4 in which the pillar is guided. The casing has an upper flange 5 by which it is supported in a rotatable manner on a guide ring 3 in the seat frame, or the casing may be permanently or temporarily secured to the ring. The lever 8 is adapted for foot operation. Spring mountings for seats.-The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification wherein a compression spring is interposed between the flange 5 and the guide ring, the casing being lengthened accordingly. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
