Abstract
266,522. Sherwood, S. H. Feb. 3, 1926. Storm lamps.-In a hurricane lantern a vertically slidable domeplate i on the top tube f is connected by side wires to the gallery plate and is raised and lowered by a lever l fulcruumned to the upper end of the top tube f and connected throush a link n to the cover plate i, the link n being vertical and lying fairly close to the tube f when the gallery plate is in the lowered position. The link n and the lever l are of stout wire and one arm l<4> of the lever projects through the side wall of the top tube f. The side wires are stiffly guided in clips on the side tubes d.
