265,839. Groves, W. W., (Neptune Meter Co.). June 14, 1926. Safety-valves. - A weight loaded safety valve particularly applicable for use on domestic waterheating plants has the valve member d<1> loosely secured in a recess formed in a block d<2> screwed to the valve spindle. The bottom of the recess is coned and the edge of the valve member is tapered so that it may be secured by crimping or turning over the edge of the recess. The valve seat g which is screwed into the lower part of the casing and the valve member may be made of the metal known under the Registered Trade Mark "Monel." The valve spindle d is guided by a recess a<3> in the upper part of the casing and by a perforated plate h mounted in a recess in the lower part of the casing.
