Endless-track vehicles.-In a motor vehicle of the kind having endless-tracks and road wheels for alternative use, the conversion from an endless-track vehicle to a wheeled vehicle is effected by power-operated means which are automatically disconnected or stopped at the end of the operation. In the construction shown a lever F raising and lowering the endless-tracks is driven by an internal-combustion engine, the magneto of which is earthed to stop the engine by means of a switch arm F<1>. At either end of its travel the switch arm engages one of the contacts F<3>, F<4> and completes an earthing circuit for the magneto G<2> through a hand-operated double switch G. In the position shown the magneto is earthed through the right-hand. blade of the switch G and the contact F<3>, and the engine can only be re-started if the switch G is moved to the position shown in broken lines, this being done after the raising and lowering mechanism has been disconnected from the engine. In a modification where the raising and lowering mechanism is driven through reversing gear the latter is automatically returned to the neutral position at the end of the operation by a pin on a. moving part travelling in a slot in a link connected to the reversing-gear lever.
