Container pivoted: in shell. - Relates to boxes of the, type comprising a frame and a container pivoted together, in which the frame can be swung clear of the open end of the container to give access to the contents of the latter. According to the invention the box, comprising a frame 6 and container 4 pivoted together at 5, can be closed by swinging the frame into the plane of the container so that the open end 8 contacts with a permanent closure strip on the side of the frame. An internal strip 10 is provided around the closure strip against which the end 8 abuts and so prevents the entry of dust &c. The end 8 of the container is cut away on three sides. The internal strip 10 extends over the sides of the frame a distance which permits the accommodation of the projecting side of the container.
