Abstract
265,039. Appleton, W. A., and Joseph, J. April 10, 1926. Wireless tuning-apparatus, adjustment devices for.-In reducing- gearing particularly applicable for variable electric condensers, variometers, &c., planetary friction wheels 20 carried on spindles 16 turning with the moving vanes &c. are formed in tv-o cupped parts pressed by internal springs 21 against a grooved sunwheels 18, secured to the fine-adjustment knob 22, and a stationary ring 19 formed in two partsfor ready assembly and secured to the framing 13. The wheel 18 or the ring 19, or both such parts. may be formed in two parts spring-pressed against the wheels 20. The usual coarse-adjustment means 14 is provided.
