Abstract
265,034. Stevens, T. J. March 31, 1926. Push-bars.-A folding handle for a perambulator, push-chair, or like vehicle has its side limbs provided with inturned or out-turned unconnected ends which are disposed in axial alignment with, and are pivotally supported by, bearing members secured to the body. The hendle may be held in the operative position bv suitable catches such as are described in Specification 258,758. As shown, the inturned ends 2 of the handle 1 engage sleves 5 detachablv screwed on to lugs 4 carried bv brackets 3 or. the end of the body. In a modification, the inturned or out-turned ends of a tubular handle engage over trunnions or pivots carried by brackets on the body.
