264,787. Barbarou, M. J. B. Jan. 25, 1926, [Convention date]. Pistons. - An oil scraperring 2 is formed with a peripheral channel 3 from which ducts 8 lead to the scraperring groove, ducts 9 leading from the groove to the interior of the piston. Oblique ducts 4 also lead to the interior of the piston from grooves 6, 7 adjacent to the edges of the scraper ring groove. The ring 2 may be in one piece, or comprise two rings placed side by side with adjacent edges bevelled to form the groove 3.
