Regulating.-Windmill blades o have their inclination and radial distance from the shaft a adjusted through bevel gears and links by the wind acting in opposition to a counterweight controlling the axial movement of a rod n. Each blade o is slidably mounted, by a key-and-slot connection, on the tubular hub c<1> of a bevel gear c, which meshes with gears b, b<1>. Each wheel c is connected by an arm k with a lever l pivoted on a bolt l<1> and connected at the other end, to the rod n. The radial movement of the blades is effected by the gear b through rods h and a ring f. In a modification, the rods h move the blades radially by means of rods sliding within the tubular supports of the blades.
