Abstract

262,066. Kisse, K. Nov. 30, 1925, [Convention date]. Separators for spreading solids.-Apparatus for projecting concrete, sand, &c. comprises a rotating cup-shaped bowl 2, to which the material is fed from a hopper 6 by a screw 7. The material rises by centrifugal force up the sides of the bowl, where it is engaged hv a fixed helical scraper 10 mounted on a ring 9, and is projected through an opening in the fixed outer casing 15. A ring 16 attached to the bowl prevents any of the material from reaching the shaft bearings. The apparatus may be used for separating granular materials of different specific gravity.
