Movable - abutment type: packing vanes.- In an engine with rotating piston n and rotating abutment o the piston has with regard to its central plane standing radially to the axis of the shaft either a rectangular or a double trapeziform shape, the groove of the abutment overlapping the interior surface of the cylinder being provided with plane surfaces p against the lateral walls of which engage elastic packing rings u secured to the piston, each packing ring consisting of one piece engaging and fitted to the shape of the piston.
