Sheet.registering devices.-An arrangement f o r holding a sheet of paper 20,Fig. 1, to be printed, on the platen 22 of a printing - press, comprises a tearoff pad of thin sheets of paper 15 secured to the platen, on the uppermost sheet of which are secured two metal clips serving to hold and register the sheet 20. Each clip consists of an upper plate 5, Fig. 7, grooved centrally at 6 to receive a steel tongue 14, and a lower plate 1 having a bevelled edge 2 corresponding to bevelled edges. 9 on the plate 5.
