Abstract

254,582. Richardson, H. R., and Whitley, R. W. Nov. 2, 1925. Loud-speakers. - A loud-speaking attachment for a telephone receiving earpiece consists of a casing between the two parts of which, B, C, a diaphragm A is clamped, one half C of the casing having means such as a socket lined with rubber E, for attaching an earpiece from which the usual cap and diaphragm have been removed. The magnet of the earpiece can then act upon the diaphragm A, which is larger than the one removed. A trumpet or the like can be fitted at H on the casing. The Figure shows the parts of the attachment separated.
