Abstract
253.485. Felten & Guilleaume Carlswerk Akt.-Ges. June 13, 1925, [Convention date]. Cables with auxiliary conductors. - In single core cables for high frequency currents of the kind which are provided with a winding of good conducting material about the insulation for the return current, as described in Specification 10313/95, a layer of jute c, Fig. 1, is interposed between the guttapercha insulation b of the core a and the return conductor d consisting of one or more bands of copper or other good conductor. The construction shown comprises an outer layer e of jute and sheathing f. In a modification, Fig. 2, the return conductor is combined with the sheathing by covering the sheathing wires f of steel or iron with a coating of good conducting material.
