Abstract
252,105. Swanner, T. R. Nov. 5, 1925. Stands or supports.-Four jacks, two for each axle. are interconnected by means of a telescopic rod 34, 35 and by cross shafts 6, 7, motion being transmitted bv worms and worm wheels. The rear wheels rest on rollers 16 17 on the shafts of the worms which drive the worm wheels of the rear jacks so that engine power may be employed. A handle and gearing are also supplied on the shaft 6. The worm wheels a, Fig. 4, are mounted between ball bearings 28, the whole being bolted together by bolts 20<a >for quick de. tachment of the parts. 'The jacks are mounted on a base 1.2, the halves of which are at an adjustable distance apart.
