251,629. Auby, A., and Bouillard, A., (Assignees of Grand, A.). May 1, 1925, [Convention date]. Spring surfaces.-The springs in a seat, mattress or resilient upholstery surface are connected in rows by wires 1 arranged at their lower and upper ends. At intervals along these connecting wires are portions 2 bent to clip on the coils of the springs. Wires 4 are also arranged to connect the springs in adjacent rows. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also the use of bracing- links 5 with upturned ends forming single or 'double eyes 7 through which pass longitudinal and transverse locking wires or strips 8, which links are placed midway between the ends of the springs, as shoes in Fig. 2 (Cancelled). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
