Abstract

251,423. Harrison, S. C., and Iles, H. April 16, 1925. Curtains, suspending. - A curtain runner comprises a grooved roller d carried by a wire frame c and riding upon the convex upper face b of a curtain rail a, the arrangement permitting the frame c to swing both in the direction of the rail and transversely to it, accidental detachment being prevented by a member f arranged to swing on the frame c and formed with an upward extension which enters into the recess k at the underside of the face b. In a modification, shown in Fig. 3, the frame c is provided with sheet metal member h the upper end of which is located in the recess k, the curtain being secured to its lower end. The roller may comprise a pair of flanges with a reduced intermediate portion, contact with the rail being made by the flanges.
