Abstract

251,207. Gebhard, C. Dec. 18, 1925. Tips.-A tip for chair legs and similar supporting members of articles' of furniture, comprises a resilient pad 5 adapted to be attached direct to the foot of the chair-leg 9 by a nail 10 and having a cupped periphery which is slipped over and retains a flange 16 on a metal wearing base 15. A central core 8 on the pad 5 is compressed within the constricted mouth of the base 15 to position the base laterally. The core 8 is recessed at 11 to take the head of the nail and carries a reinforcing washer 13 of large area.
