March 12, 1925, [Convention date.] Air and gas heating furnaces comprise a casing 29 containing heating elements 30 providing a series of air or gas passages alternating with a series of flue gas passages, and a furnace 13 receiving gas and air through pipes 14, 17. An auxiliary air supply 33 through a damper-controlled passage 34 may also be included. The heatersmay have hotter and cooler sections for providing two supplies of air heated to different temperatures. Specifications 242,621, 242,622, and 242,623, [all in Class 55 (i), Coking &c.], are referred to.
